Maybe I see a team this good in PUGS, maybe 1 in 50 games. (and I wasn't in a smoke ship, to try and cheese the mission if the team implodes.)īut I hit the jackpot with the random matchmaking. Match has barely started, and I was feeling the dread of what this might turn into. Well, it's going to be one of those games. Had a game today, pink DD, one minute in still hasn't moved. And sinking the Reds in time is really tough. If the BBs don't take advantage of this, all of these factors snowball against your team. The cruisers can sit back behind BBs, and have a better opportunity to survive. Reds sink faster, they get off less shots or torps against your team. You'll have better dispersion, get more hits and/or cits, less shell travel time. AND with good positioning, those islands near the perimeter, can be vital to all ship classes to get out of trouble temporarily.īBs, need to ride the line(circle perimeter), generally shooting at closer ranges. So hightail it if torps are likely a lethal threat to you. Be aggressive as a BB, but not worth getting sunk generally. But what irks me the most in Newport, is BBs that hang back or dont move from spawn.
